By The Numbers: Erin Blanchfield vs. Maycee Barber

They had to know it was only a matter of time before they crashed into one another in their race to the top of the Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s flyweight division.

Erin Blanchfield will face Maycee Barber in the UFC on ESPN 68 headliner this Saturday at the UFC Apex, where the victor figures to take a giant leap forward at 125 pounds. Blanchfield enters the cage having rattled off 10 wins in 11 outings. The onetime Eddie Bravo Invitational champion last suited up at UFC Fight Night 246, where she took a five-round unanimous decision from Rose Namajunas on Nov. 2. Barber, meanwhile, steps back into view on the strength of a six-fight winning streak. The Team Alpha Male rep last fought on March 9, 2024, when she outpointed Katlyn Cerminara to a three-round unanimous decision at UFC 299.
